BC Renal

Overview

The BC Renal Kidney Care Committee works to coordinate and improve the delivery of non-dialysis chronic kidney disease (CKD) care in BC. It provides a forum for collaboration across health authorities and advises on provincial priorities, clinical standards, guidelines, tools, resources, and quality indicators for non-dialysis CKD care.

Committee membership includes patient partners and clinical and administrative leaders from provincial and regional health authorities and BC Renal. Members work together by sharing their perspectives to enable quality non-dialysis CKD care. Patient partners of the committee work alongside kidney health professionals to ensure best outcomes and experiences for people receiving care at Kidney Care Clinics in BC.
